Blizzard wins ruling to the bots

The creator of the video game World Of Warcraft has achieved a favorable ruling in a lawsuit against the developers of a bot for this game, which will now have to pay at Blizzard $ 6 million in damages.

The software is developed by the company MDY Industries, and automates many of the actions of the game, which is a violation of the terms of use and copyright of WoW.

The suit brought by Blizzard in July 2008 has been very beneficial, as this company must pay a very heavy fine. Still, it is estimated that the creator of MMOGlider, as this software was known, had sold over 100,000 copies of this utility, to 25 U.S. dollars each.
