Repel mosquitoes with a computer program

There is nothing more annoying that the drones of mosquitoes while trying to sleep. We can take various kinds of measures, but most are left odors or toxic. Therefore, there is a program that is freeware and repels mosquitoes. But … does it work? Read on.

The software occupies 124 KB and requires no installation.

The operation is very easy. What downloads, unpacks it, double-click and you’re done. And what does? When executed displays a small window with information, if you click on “run on startup” produces a sound inaudible to humans, but annoying for mosquitoes, at a frequency ranging from 16,000 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The execution seemed so simple that we start to doubt. It is difficult to rely on something that is not seen nor heard. In the information window, the anti-mosquito program notes that this frequency, although it is not audible to humans, it is audible for pets. We’ve tested with a cat (and that we love cats).

And they saw and upset, but we had to raise enough volume (we used loudspeakers to 500 watts of power).
