Scientists have launched a project in California. They are painting the roofs of new houses white to reflect sunlight. So not only are energy-saving cooling, but the sun’s rays go into space.

It has been estimated that if every house in a city “paint their roofs white,” will form a sort of mini shield that would bring the temperatures dropped several degrees and there was less pollution problems.
