Telescope NASA successfully launched

NASA successfully launched a new telescope as part of a mission to explore the universe through gamma rays.

The space telescope Glast (Gamma-ray Large Area Space Telescope) will offer additional clues about the universe’s most violent events that led to the launch of massive quantities of energy in the form of gamma rays.

The telescope cost 690 million dollars and take high-resolution photographs of the sky for gamma rays.

These rays have the kind of higher energy light, making them perfect for exploring the most extreme environments of the cosmos including black holes located in the heart of galaxies.
